bear blog question challenge
1. Why did you make the blog in the first place?
i'm not sure. i've seen it a bunch on hacker.news, bubbles.town, lobste.rs, seems like fun.
2. Why did you choose Bearblog?
i think i was sold a little bit by the ethos of the platform. plus, it's "underpowered", it has barely any features. this is nice for me as i was going to just upload some html files with a single tiny stylesheet anyway.
3. Have you blogged on other platforms before?
i've probably written two on a github pages page, i had a tumblr way back when and i had another site where i think i built a static site generator in reasonml? strange choices all round, i suppose.
4. Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?
it would be p-s-y-c-h-o-t-i-c not to use the built in editor.
5. When do you feel most inspired to write?
when i have something to complain about or if i delude myself into feeling smart.
6. Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?
publish immediately. my goal is to make these posts devoid of value, unironically, otherwise i'd paralyse myself trying to make them good even though i'm not a writer or a thinker.
7. Your favorite post on your blog?
one i haven't written yet, of course.
8. Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?
nah, just post. i've always kind of envied people with 15 years of post history.
